Lindsey Butcher’s aerial dance company Gravity & Levity was launched in 2003 to exploit the creative and expressive potential achievable through applying a dance aesthetic to aerial suspension techniques.
The company appeared as part of the caravan showcase in Brighton Festival 2008 with their show Shift (pictured). Butcher was also aerial coordinator for Stomp’s extraordinary Lost and Found Orchestra (Brighton Festival commission 2006).
