Sue MacLaine

Sue MacLaine is a performer and playwright currently studying for an MA in Life History and Life Writing.

“My fascination is with how people narrate their lives: what is emphasised and what is edited.  We all carry different versions of ourselves and I am intrigued by what we choose to tell, when and to whom.”

Her play Sid Lester’s Big Night In was presented as a Brighton Festival Platform in 2010 under the title All That I Was / All That I Am.

She returns to the Pavilion Theatre as part of the In Process / In Performance season with her as yet unproduced play, A Place of Safety.
